Leanne Isaacson - Eastwood Community Centre

In the eighth episode of Community Conversations, we are joined by Leanne Isaacson, the Director of Eastwood Community Centre. Together we discuss how Community Centres can serve as the initial stepping stone for many individuals to embark on lifelong opportunities. These centres provide a safe and inclusive environment where people can truly be themselves and experience personal growth and transformation.

We also take a closer look at the social and interpersonal skills that are developed through Adult Community Education programs. These programs can create a sense of community where participants feel comfortable to express themselves and thrive, whilst building core foundation skills.
