In this episode, we are joined by Anthony Cochrane, from the Animal Welfare League SA to discuss various aspects of pet adoption and animal welfare. We spoke about how foster carers enrich and train animals before adoption, and highlighted the opportunities for volunteering in animal welfare.
We talked about the wonderful effect that bonds between humans and animals can have on our mental health. We touched on how kids can play a role in promoting animal welfare and learning about responsible pet ownership, as well as the hurdles that can pop up during the animal adoption process.
